Krav Maga Academy is happy to have one of our dear friends, former UFC Heavyweight Champion and MMA legend Andrei Arlovsky for a MMA seminar This Saturday at 12:00pm.
Andrei is one of the most impressive pro fighters in Mixed Martial Arts, with 17 wins – 13 of them by knockout and 3 by submission.

I am happy to invite you to a one-of-a-kind seminar, co-developed by Krav Maga Academy and our friends from NYPD.
This seminar will focus on a problem that is making headlines in recent months- A lone gunman with diverse arsenal shooting indiscriminately at people without a specific target.
The shooter’s motives vary from one case to the next but there are many underlying common ingredients which makes them predictable and vulnerable.
In this combination of Lecture and Physical you will learn about the criminal profile of the active shooter, the psychology of the attacker, case studies and most importantly, how to react to increase the likelihood of your survival.
This Seminar is FREE for Krav Maga Academy students but requires RSVP through our on-line system.

Krav Maga Academy will be holding our 3rd annual Survival and Disarm 2-day weekend seminar in the woods of Cold spring, NY (roughly 1hr 15mins north of Manhattan, easy access by train)
We have created a packed schedule which is better than ever.
The weekend is designed to be a challenging experience for the body and mind which will enhance your skills, sharpen your instincts and polish your technique while enjoying the beautiful wilderness.
The Krav Maga training will focus mainly on various weapons disarms.
KMA will supply everything you need for a comfortable and safe experience. (Camping gear, food, etc)
Training will take place under any light and/or weather conditions deemed safe by the instructors.
Detailed schedule will be sent out to those who reserve their spot.

Learn to defend yourself in a nightclub environment with music, flashing lights and people dancing around you.
Guys – learn how to protect your girlfriend from a violent, sexually harassing attacker or effectively subdue a drunken assailant who is looking for trouble.
Girls – Learn to fend off sexually abusive, larger and stronger attackers.
Alcohol fosters violence. Dozens of attacks happen in clubs, bars and other party events. The combination of liquor, crowds and testosterone often leads to stabbings, fist fights and multiple attackers’ scenarios – many times over nonsense.
